Become a Member

At Hope Clubhouse, membership is voluntary and welcoming, providing adults with opportunities to build skills, connections, confidence, and a meaningful path forward.

How to Join

Join the Clubhouse Community Today

At Hope Clubhouse, our members are seen as valuable participants and are not defined by an illness label. Membership is voluntary, without time limits and open to anyone over the age of 18 with a history of mental illness (unless that person poses a threat to themselves or a safety to the Clubhouse community). There are no clinical therapies or treatment-oriented programs here and members participate as they feel ready and according to their individual interest. Members are given access to the best community services available, including affordable and dignified housing, mental and general health services and government disability benefits.

Step 1

Download the Referral Form listed below. Have your clinician complete the paperwork and have it returned to our office. You can have your clinician print the form and bring it to our office, or they can fax the completed form to 239-267-1774.

Step 2

Once your Referral Form is received we will reach out to contact you regarding scheduling your orientation date.

Step 3

After your orientation you will receive paperwork to officially apply as a member. You can do it at the Clubhouse or take the paperwork with you. Your application will be processed and you will receive a phone call from someone at the Clubhouse!

Plan Your Day

Four Units, One Community

Grow With Purpose

Horticulture

Connect with nature as you plant, harvest, and grow food for the Culinary Unit and fellow members. Join our gardening team and build real skills through hands-on landscaping work; from seed to table.

Skills From Kitchen to Table

Culinary

Get hands-on kitchen experience, from food prep to serving, with professional training in cooking techniques. Help run Hope Clubhouse’s affordable lunch service, featuring a daily special with a side salad or a large signature salad, and take your culinary skills to the next level.

Skills for the Real World

Business

Build real-world skills in administration, outreach, and operations that translate directly to a resume and a paycheck. Sharpen your Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency, along with your data entry and filing techniques. The work you do here isn’t practice; it helps run the daily business of the Clubhouse, so your contribution matters from day one.

Building Your Future

Employment & Education

Return to school, go back to work, and hear the bell ring in your honor: a Hope Clubhouse tradition for every job placement. We believe that meaningful work and educational milestones are a cornerstone of recovery, and every step you take toward either one is a step worth celebrating.

Being Social with Hope Clubhouse

Whether you're a longtime member or brand new, our events are a great way to meet people and find your next go-to hangout spot. Join us for game nights, dinner outings, and much more. Don't miss your chance to make lifelong friends and lasting memories. Socials are held at least one weekend and three weekdays each month.
